Welcome to Writing the Global Book!

Kotarim International Publishing, Ltd. is excited to announce its global initiative that aims to bring together authors from around the world: The creation of the first international, collaborative, internet-based novel.

On March 21, 2014 the publishing house will begin to sell the book on Amazon and other international online bookstores. All of the proceeds will go to charity, the specifics of which will be decided upon in a democratic vote among all of the contributors.

The ongoing project will be posted on this blog, but known authors from around the world will also be directly contacted for their possible contributions to the book. Each section should be written as the continuation of the previously posted material, thus developing a unique and hopefully fascinating storyline!

Contributors are invited to write chapters up to 500 words in length. The book will be published in English, but submissions will be accepted in both English, Hebrew, Arabic, or Spanish (and will be subsequently translated by the publishers).

In the final product, the name of each of the authors will appear next to his or her section, as well as listed on the back cover of the book. The publishing company is limiting the number of contributors to 250. Submissions will be accepted until December 31, 2013.

Kotarim International Publishing will hold all editing and publishing rights regarding the individual sections of the book and the book as a whole, and all of its decisions will be based on the quality of writing and its relevance to the project.

The participants will agree that they will not hold any copyright to their sections and that all editing decisions will be at the will of the publisher. The submitted entries will not be returned to participants.
